This role requires close collaboration with software engineers, product managers, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with high quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Own and manage the end-to-end delivery of technical projects.
  2. Collaborate with engineering, product, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
  3. Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, goals, resource allocation, and risk management.

Skills and Qualifications:

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance, security, and uptime of our web/application servers and associated services. You will work closely with internal teams and clients to resolve technical issues, deploy new systems, and implement countermeasures against threats. This position requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, 24/7 support environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor server load, uptime, and service performance to ensure optimal operation.
  2. Analyze abuse patterns and implement effective countermeasures to mitigate risks.
  3. Deploy and configure new servers, ensuring seamless integration into existing infrastructure.
  4. Identify and combat unusual DDoS attacks and other security threats.
  5. Develop, implement, and test comprehensive backup and recovery plans for databases and other critical data.
  6. Ensure regular backups are performed, validated, and readily available for restoration in case of data loss or system failure.
  7. Collaborate with Customer Success Specialists to diagnose and resolve client-side service issues.
  8. Communicate effectively with clients via email, live chat, and other channels to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems.
  9. Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams with detailed documentation.
  10. Manage multiple tasks and issues simultaneously in a high-pressure environment.
  11. Participate in 24/7 shift rotations to provide continuous support.

Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Strong experience with Linux (e.g., CentOS, Ubuntu, Debian) and Windows OS variants.
  2. Proficiency in managing control panels like Plesk, cPanel, and DirectAdmin.
  3. Hands-on experience with critical web servers (e.g., Nginx, LiteSpeed, Apache, Node.js, Tomcat).
  4. Familiarity with Content Management Systems like WordPress, Joomla, and Magento.
  5. Solid understanding of network technologies (e.g., IPv4, IPv6, routing, bridging, proxies, firewalls).
  6. Ability to write and debug scripts in PHP, Python, Bash, or similar programming languages.
  7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
